Brenda
Anderson has a variety of interests. After her marriage to John W. Anderson, the couple raised three daughters, Monica
Anderson Young and twins, Ashley Anderson Larsen and Blair Anderson. The Andersons now have four granddaughters.
After 25 years
as a Registered Nurse, Anderson is pursuing her creative and artistic side. She has a pottery studio and
business, Daughter of Clay Pottery, has dabbled in watercolor, pen and ink and sculpturing. She also paints with
oils and acrylics.
Anderson, an inactive correspondent with
the Press-Register, wrote articles for the Mobile Neighbors section and for the Baldwin Register. She is an avid
photographer and is active in her church, Eastern Shore Baptist Church in Daphne, and loves riding
motorcycles. With the encouragement and support of her husband, Anderson continues
her many creative adventures.
Anderson is a member of the Eastern Shore Art Center, Bay Rivers Art Guild (BRAG) and Foley Performing Arts
Association (PAA).
